Age 59, of Union, passed away, June 22, 2009 at the VA Medical Center in Dayton. Carey served in the US Army during Vietnam at Da Nang Air Base. He previously was employed at Tru-Green Chemlawn & was a member of VFW Post 5434 in Union. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cheryl; daughter Christy Florence; grandchildren Megan Florence & Joseph James Florence IV; father Ervin Zorn. Graveside services will be held 3:00pm, Tuesday, June 30 at the Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Carey's name to American Cancer Society, SW Regional Office, 2808 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45206.
