Caresse A. Crotty

August 30, 1980 — January 29, 2012

Caresse Amber Crotty was born August 30th, 1980 in Fort Hood, TX to Paul and Barbara (Boerma) Stephens, and later adopted by Francis M. Crotty. She was called to the Lord early Sunday morning January 29, 2012, leaving behind her three children Emma, Gabrielle, and Kaelib.

Caresse grew up in a military home moving regularly, but never had problems making friends. Everyone that knew her would say she was kind and full of life. As she grew older she began to use her artistic skills with her love for flowers, working for different florist shops in the Dayton area. She used her gifts to brighten up the days of people she would sometimes never meet.

Caresse is survived by her children, parents, Francis M. and Barbara Crotty, and Paul and Clarice Stephens, brothers, Adam and Ian Crotty, and sisters, Anna and Alysa Stephens, Grandparents, Evelyn Boerma, Leona Barnes, William and Wanda Stephens, Virginia Ruf, Wayne and Marie Humphres, and Great Grandmother, Genevieve Ruot, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Viewing will be held Thursday February 2nd, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with services immediately following, at the Newcomers Funeral Home in Beavercreek.

Burial will take place this spring at Cherry Grove Cemetery in Cadillac, MI.
