Candice L. Bohannon

Candice "Candy" L. Bohannon, age 66 of Riverside, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. She was born March 3, 1951 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Harman and Mary (Cunningham) Barker.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her step-brother, Dolie E. Junior Lewis.

Candy was a loving wife and mother and especially loved her grandchildren. She was the most patient, sweetest and humble person that you would ever meet. She was so good with children and they would just flock to her. Her family will really miss her and they "love her with all their hearts".

Candice will be missed by her loving husband of 48 years, James "Don" Bohannon; three daughters, Debra (Todd) Schwiebert, Pamela (Mark) Akers, Rebecca (Jeremy) Bryant; seven grandchildren, Brittany, Todd Jr., Heather, Jared, Ashley, J.D. and Brandon; three great grandchildren, Mae, Jack and Aurora; siblings, Randy (Carol) Barker, Mike (Mary) Barker and Cindy Berger; sister-in-law, Tena Waymire; nieces, nephews, cousins; and special family friend, Tracy Pittman and her daughter Harley.

Family will receive friends Friday, February 16, 2018 from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1p.m. at Newcomer South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Burial will be held immediately following the service at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
