Candace Rae (Craycraft) Alexander

September 25, 1980 — January 21, 2024

Candace Rae (Craycraft) Alexander passed away in hospice January 21, 2024 at the age of 43.

Survived by her 4 sons, Ian (7), Jakob (15), Shawn (19), and Austin (20); parents, Kathy Kincaid and Larry Craycraft; and brothers Tyler (Stacy) Craycraft, Eric (Shannon) Ayles, Shane (Melanie) Ayles, Mark Ayles, and Phillip (Christie) Ayles.

Her passion for life was matched only by her wit. Which served her well, making lifelong friends in every avenue she traveled, whether it be being the president of the drama club, or loved by everyone who worked with her at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Her passions included cooking the best meals for her friends and family, cheering the Bengals, listening to a variety of music genres, and binge watching her favorite shows like Grey's Anatomy, Sons of Anarchy, and Yellowstone. She was a strong, brave, and intelligent woman, who instilled those virtues in her sons who she couldn't be more proud of. She will be dearly missed by everyone who had the beautiful fortune of knowing her.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 2-3pm at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. A memorial service will follow at 3pm.
