God gave to me a memory,
A blessing in disguise.
For I can see Your face, my dear,
When'ere I close My eyes.
God gave to me a memory,
And all I have to do, Is turn
my face Up to the skies;
And I'm again With you.
God gave to me a memory,
Of a rose Of beauty rare.
So, be it winter, Spring or Fall;
I have Roses Everywhere.
God gave to me a memory,
So, no matter Where I roam;
You'll always be Beside me,
and I'll never Walk alone.
