MILAM, Calvin Robert age 81 of Huber Heights, was born on May 18, 1924 to the late Charles R. and Corda (Lacer) Milam of Evansville, IN. He passed from this life on Thursday, May 26, 2005 at Spring Creek Nursing Home. Calvin is preceded in death by his loving wife of 62 years, Lois Milam, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his son Tommy (Charlotte) Milam, his daughter Sherry (Denny) Laycox; grandchildren Angie, Missy and Tommy Milam, Holly Banker, Junior (Stacy) Marsh; step-grandchildren Phil and Doug Laycox; great grandchildren Sharla and Mathew Milam, Krystal and Patrick Banker, Kailie, Gabrielle and Joy Marsh, Hunter and Carlie Laycox, all of the Dayton area; siblings Helen Sirko of Evansville, IN, Estella Langford of Nortonville, KY, Charlotte Henry of Melbourne, FL, Joretta Rupp and Janice Spears both of Wadesville, IN; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Calvin served our country in the US Army during WWII, receiving a Bronze Star. He retired from Canteen Vending after over 40 years of service. He was Past President of the North Dayton Democratic Club for many years. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. Calvin was a loving father and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road.
