Age 76, of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2009.
Calvin is survived by two sons, Steve & his wife, Melissa Pennington and Rick Miller; eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Ricky, Kristi, Tiffany, Haley, Justin, Rachel, Katie; ten great grandchildren; three brothers, Boyd, Hassel & Dock Pennington; and by one sister, Nellie Gibson.
Calvin was a veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps and a member of AMVETS post # 24 and the American Legion post # 619.
The family will be receiving friends TODAY (Oct. 1) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, at the funeral home with interment to follow at Willow View Cemetery.
The family suggests that contributions be made in memory of Calvin to Hospice of Dayton.
