BARROW, Calvin Coolidge, was born on September 10, 1935 to the late George Sr. and Emma Barrow of Bradley, Arkansas.

Calvin departed this life on Friday, November 23, 2012. He was preceded in death by his parents George Sr. and Emma Barrow, four brothers and four sisters.

Calvin migrated from Bradley, Arkansas to Dayton, Ohio where he worked as a cook and butcher at Neil's Heritage House for forty years until his retirement. He accepted the Lord at the age of 28 and was active in the church by serving as a Sunday School and YPWW teacher, Deacon and Sunday School Superintendent.

He leaves to cherish his memory: six daughters and four sons-in-law, Laura (Sam) Myrick, Judy (Lafermont Jr.) Sealey, Michelle (Stan) Shaw all of Dayton, Ohio, Alicia (Monty) Murphy of West Chester, Ohio, Leslie E. Barrow, Jennifer Harris and adopted daughter, Stephanie Bouldin all of Dayton, Ohio. He also leaves 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, a very special brother and sister-in-law, Sherman and Helen Childs of Dayton, Ohio, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Burial will follow in West Memory Gardens.
