Byron K. Creech

CREECH, Byron K. "Barney", age 50, died in the care of Hospice of Dayton Tuesday, January 8, 2008. He was born January 21, 1957 in Dayton, OH. Byron loved to bowl and bowled a 299 game as a freshman in high school, played drums with several local bands, worked for Art's Equipment Rental for 12 years, and was a Cleveland Browns fanatic. He is survived by his mother, Helen Webb and step-father Charles of Centerville; two sisters, Vicki (Ray) Payne and Karen Creech both of North Carolina; one brother, Robert "Mike" (Laura) Creech of Florida; companion and love of his life Starr Howard. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Creech; paternal grandparents, Enos and Elizabeth Creech; maternal grandparents, Cecil and Mary Brandenburg; aunt, Imogene Plantz. Visitation will be held Friday, January 11, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd.) with memorial services following at 7:00 p.m. If desired, donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
