"Butch" Russell James Shearer, Jr., 68, of Dayton, passed away on March 14, 2019.
He was born on January 30, 1951 to Russell and Jewel Loraine Shearer in Lexington, KY.
He was preceded in death by his son, Russell "Rusty" James Shearer, III; father, Russell James Shearer, Sr.; and sister, Patty Morgan.
Butch is survived by his loving children, James "Jimmi" Shearer and Elizabeth "Betsy" Shearer; grandchildren, Paige (Josh) Hammel, Destiny and Jenna Shearer; great grandchildren, Nathan Vogel, Bayleigh, Kinsley, and Morgan Hammel; mother, Jewel Shearer; sister, Carol Shearer; and David Brenner.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Newcomer Beavercreek Chapel.
Memorial services will follow at 4:00 pm.
