Burton Fugate

Fugate, Burton, age 94, of Franklin, Ohio, formerly of West Liberty, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Hospice of Butler and Warren counties. He was born August 30, 1915 in Morgan County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Margaret Hoschar Fugate in 2003; his parents: Floyd & Francis Fugate; his sister: Irene Collinsworth; and brothers: Elmer & Albert Fugate, all of West Liberty, Kentucky. He is survived by his daughter: Sharon Fugate of Franklin, Ohio; sons: Ron (Bridget) Fugate of Middletown, Ohio, Jim Fugate of Middletown, Ohio, Bill (Denise) Fugate of Franklin, Ohio; his seven grandchildren: Mark, Bridget, Paul David, Jimmy, Holly, Angie and Michelle; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews in Ohio and Kentucky, with special nephew: Billy Ray Collinsworth of Dayton, Ohio. Bert was a retired 58 year member of the Local #510 & #392 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union of Middletown and Cincinnati, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 P.M. on Friday, March 19, 2010 at Springboro Cemetery in Springboro, Ohio. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to either Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties, Renaissance Center, 5940 Long Meadow Drive, Franklin, Ohio 45005 or Shalom Homeless, 120 S.
