SHAWVER, BURMA JEAN
65 of Dayton, passed away Friday, August 27, 2004 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Burma was born August 2, 1939, the daughter of Luther and Lucille Pinkerton. She worked for DELCO Products for 25 years before retiring. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Clarence "Butch" E. Shawver; children, Jerry Lee Loffer, Lori (Ed) Nace, Debbie (Lee) Beckman, and George Shawver; 9 grandchildren; dogs, Maggie and Emmy; and cat, Velvet. Burma was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Sherry Robinson. Family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2004 at Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday with entombment in Miami Valley Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Contributions may be given in Burma's memory to the American Heart Association.
