Burkley Dean Taylor

Burkley "Burk" Dean Taylor, 70, passed away on January 8, 2023. Loving husband of Helen Taylor for 30 years, cherished father of Kathryn (David) Robbins, adored grandfather of Nicholas (Crystal Shupp) Watson and Braden Robbins, great grandfather of Amelia and Persephone Watson and brother of Rick Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Burk was preceded in death by his parents Patricia Ann and Richard Taylor, son Johnny Burk Taylor and sisters Marti Rigsby and Shirley Daniels.

Burk was born on October 24, 1952 in Springfield, OH. He spent his working career as a heavy machine operator. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who passed his skills onto many generations of children. He enjoyed spending time with his family most of all. He will be very missed.

A celebration of Burk's life will be held at VFW post 3660 (2471 Columbus Ave. Springfield, OH 45503) on February 4, 2023 from 4 pm until 6 pm. Please consider a donation to VFW post 3660 to support them as they honor veteran's lives at graveside services.
