Campbell, Burchel, age 66, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. Burchel was born August 3, 1946 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Garfield & Nancy Campbell.
Burchel was a United States Army Veteran stationed in Korea proudly serving during the Vietnam War. Burchel was the owner and operator of Burchel Campbell Trucking and Alpha Omega Logistics and he was a member of F. & A.M. Eastern Star Lodge #55 in Franklin, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, and F.O.E. Aerie 1395 in Lebanon.
Burchel is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Deborah (Brian) Weiler; sons and daughter-in-law: Roger Allen (Debbie) Campbell & Burchel Campbell II; grandchildren: Amber Marie, Amanda Dawn, Sarah Elizabeth, Roger Allen Jr. & Jeremy W.B.; great grandchildren: Anna Marie & Sam Nicholas; and his beloved horse: My Princess Anna. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Lathat Robert & Joseph Campbell and his sister: Martha Campbell.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Entombment will follow the service at Miami Valley Memory Gardens in Centerville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Warren County-Ohio Horse Council, c/o Ken Case, 6873 St. Rt. 133, Clarksville, Ohio 45113 in memory of Burchel.
