Buford Brown

BROWN, Buford E. age 85 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at Hospice of Dayton. He is preceded in death by his step daughter Charlene May. He is survived by Emma, his loving wife of 17 years, his children Buford C. Brown, Clifford Brown, Bertha Ramburger, Winfred and wife Ruth Brown, David Brown and wife, Anthony and wife Debbie Brown, Randy and wife Vickie Brown; step children Joseph and wife Carol Vella, Paul Loury, Diane Vella, Marie and husband Randall Smith, Theresa and husband Philip McAfee, Jennifer and husband Brian Hegyi; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother Dewey Brown; sisters Lucille Hubbard and Reva Bunch; and a host of other relatives and friends. Buford served our country in the US Army during WWII. He retired from Stahler's Trucking Company after many years of service. He was a member of the Brantwood Baptist Church. He was one of many Chaplains for The Truck Stop of Dayton. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Road, with Pastor Tom Bowman and Rev. Brian Hegyi officiating. Family will receive friends from 1-3 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
