Bruce Eugene Snyder, age 56 of Centerville, Ohio, formerly Waterloo, Iowa, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023 at Kettering Health Main Campus. He was born July 2, 1966 in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of the late Raymond and Virginia Snyder.
Bruce was an over the road trucker for nearly 20 years. He was an avid sports fan, specifically the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Cincinnati Reds. Bruce enjoyed cooking and hoped to be a chef one day. He also enjoyed singing and had a love for music. Despite having many health challenges, Bruce always had a smile on his face and had a positive outlook on life. A special gift he'll be remembered for is being known as "the cat whisperer." Besides being siblings, Bruce and his sister, Annmarie, were best friends. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bruce is survived by his siblings, Annmarie Stewart, Kimberly Snyder, and Mark Snyder; soul mate, Staci Montgomery; beloved black cats, Sassy, Podo, Codo, Maggie, and Molli; as well as numerous loving relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
