Bruce Bernard Mcwilliams
September 26, 1956 — July 25, 2019
Bruce Bernard McWilliams, age 62 of Dayton, passed away peacefully Thursday, July 25, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 26, 1956 in Saint Louis, Missouri, the son of the late Alwin and Mylla McWilliams.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nenita; children, Nino Bruce (Sarah) McWilliams, Jason A. (Catherine) McWilliams, Maureen (Trevor) Nelson, Christina Brown, Melissa McWilliams; brother, Hugh (Mary Ann) McWilliams; eight grandchildren, Madison, Marley, Maddox, Gavin, Brayden, Jacqueline, Isabella, Grace; as well numerous other relatives and many friends.
Bruce is a veteran of the United States Navy having served as a Sonar Technician. He was employed with Kodak for 30+ years. Bruce was also a member of the Minnesota Patriot Guard Riders. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend. He always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face. His family was his #1 passion.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Newcomer North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 31 at 11:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church (6161 Chambersburg Rd., Huber Heights OH 45424). Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery with military honors.
