Bruce E. Lybrook, age 65, of Kettering passed away on March 2, 2020.
He was born February 4, 1955 in Kettering, Ohio to the late Floyd E. and Esther C. (Heitmann) Lybrook. As a young man he was a high school basketball player. Bruce was a decades long employee of the McDonald's Corporation. In his later career he loved to work with his hands working as a lineman and a machinist. He and his wife, Cheryl started their own business, Lybrook and Co. Bruce loved Nascar, was a history buff, and was a "Chocoholic".
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Cheryl Lybrook; son, Joshua (Kate) Lybrook and their son, Scotty; son, Zachary Lybrook; daughter, Louise Lybrook; sister, Priscilla (Tom) Landrigan; brothers, Brad (Beverly) Lybrook, Brian (Carole) Lybrook, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Bruce will always be loved and remembered for his thoughtfulness, quiet humor and dedication to family and work. He knew the true meaning of the vow "through sickness and health" by his love and devotion to Cheryl.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 pm on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Newcomer Kettering Chapel, 3940 Kettering Chapel. Please come prepared to share memories and special stories about Bruce.
