JONES, Bruce D.

age 76 of Kettering, passed away Friday, May 26, 2006 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. Bruce was born in Sneedville, TN and was a Kettering resident since 1953. He retired from Harrison Radiator, GM in 1984. Bruce was a member or Moraine Heights Baptist Church; Alpha Masonic Lodge #729; American Legion Post #598; VFW post #9927 and was an honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Kitty Jones; three sisters, Pauline, Cleo and Bernice; and one brother, Hubert. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Barbara Jones and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Road. Family will receive friends 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Valley View Memory Gardens. Rev. Hudson will officiate. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral home, Kettering Chapel.
