Blackburn, Bruce, age 57, of Kettering, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Lifecare Hospital.
Bruce is survived by his daughter: Holly Brewer; mother: Wilda Stroud; brothers and sisters-in-law: Jon (Debbie) Blackburn, Rick (Florence) Blackburn, Ron (Linda) Blackburn; half sister: Patty Scholler; and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his son: Marlon Blackburn, his father: Bruce Blackburn, and his brother: David Blackburn.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering with Pastor Dewayne Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until time of services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
