Broderick Eugene Austin

Broderick Eugene "Ricky" Austin, 66, passed away on December 30, 2022. Loving husband of Carmen Austin, cherished father of Roderick Smith, Ricky (Samantha) Austin, Aja Austin, Brandon Austin, Ciera Austin, dear grandfather of Jasmine Dawson, Joey Dawson, Jason Austin, Mya Austin, Garrett Austin, India Smith, Roderick Smith Jr., and Lazare Smith, brother of Diana Scott, Christopher (Roberta) Austin, Deborah (Charita) Austin, Ronald Austin, Joyce Austin, James (LaVonne) Austin, Iva Jean Ayers Austin, Steven (Katrina) Austin and Anita Austin. He is also survived by his "blood brother" George Powell. Ricky loved and cherished all of his nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. He will be missed by all.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Christopher and Daisy Austin.

Public visitation to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd.) on Wednesday January 11, 2023 at 3:00 pm with service to follow at 4:00 pm.
