Age 89, of Dayton, born January 8, 1922 in Coalisland, Northern Ireland, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011.
Bridget was preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Glenn E. Scholz; one son, Brian Scholz; her parents, Patrick Sr & Ellen Mallon; two brothers, Patrick Mallon Jr & John Mallon; and by two sisters, Eileen Mallon & Kathleen Mallon.
Bridget is survived by three children, Glenn (Judy) Scholz, Maureen Wisecup and Kevin (Gina) Scholz; one sister, Ninette (Francis) Legleye of France; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives & many dear friends, including Donna Matheney & Mary Becks.
Bridget was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and enjoyed playing Scrabble with Willy, Lois, Pat, Liz, Linda & Eldonia, bowling, playing cards with Grace, Betty, and others, fishing, knitting & watching all sports. She also had an artistic side and enjoyed painting, drawing & photography.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Contributions may be made in memory of Bridget to The Hospice of Dayton.
