It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian Scott Louthian, who was born on March 12, 1971, in Marion, Virginia. Brian left this world unexpectedly on March 29, 2025, leaving a profound impact on all who knew him.
Brian was a man of vibrant personality and spirit. Known for his ornery and sassy demeanor, he also had a deeply caring side that endeared him to his family and friends. He had a true passion for life and embraced many interests that reflected his unique character. A devoted enthusiast of everything Harley Davidson, he took pride in his love for the open road. He was also a huge supporter of Dale Earnhardt and the Green Bay Packers, proudly displaying his team spirit. Brian found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was fishing, watching WWE, or indulging in the adventures found in Rambo and Harry Potter movies. He had a particular fondness for Metallica, often sharing the powerful music with friends and family alike.
Brian's long hair was a signature feature that many will fondly remember, serving as a testament to his free-spirited nature. He cherished spending time with his family, creating lasting memories that will be carried forward by those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved parents, Bob and Betty Louthian; his siblings, Robert Lee Louthian Jr., Susan Michelle (Sean) Lindamood, and Barry Keith Louthian. He adored his nieces and nephews: Justin, Jarrett, Mackenzie, Harlie, Kendyll, Aspen, and Asher. His best friend, Troy, stood by his side through countless adventures and will surely miss him dearly. Brian also leaves behind aunts Mary (Bo) Osborne and Betty Thomas, uncle Larry (Lanita) Harris and his beloved dog, Miley, along with many other family members and friends who will treasure the memories made with him.
Brian will be lovingly remembered for his zest for life, his cherished interests, and the warmth he brought into the hearts of those around him. His legacy will undoubtedly continue through the stories and memories shared by his family and friends.
A gathering with family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Memorial service will begin at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
