Brian E. Workman, 62, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, August 31, 2014. He was born January 3, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan the son of the late Owen and Judith Workman.
He attended Kent State University where he received his Bachelor's Degree and The Ohio State University receiving his Master's Degree. Brian enjoyed all kinds of music. He was a gifted musician who mastered the guitar, banjo, mandolin and violin. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving sister and care giver, Leslie Workman; his beagle dog, Arlowe, other family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held to celebrate Brian's life from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, September 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
