Brian D. Bowling, 37, of Dayton, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 12, 2020.
He was born September 22, 1982 to Stephen L. Bowling and the late Tina L. Oakes (Steck).
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Virginia Miller
.
Brian is survived by his loving father, Stephen L. Bowling; brother, Stephen Bowling; son, Brendan D. Bowling; along with other relatives and friends.
He served in the Navy until his mother's death when he was 21. Brian was a professional painter who took great pride in his work. Brendan's mother passed away in 2014 when Brendan was not quite 5 years old. Brian stepped up immediately to take custody of and responsibility for his son. He poured his heart and soul into caring for Brendan and they had an extremely close relationship.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020, from 5-7 pm at Newcomer North Dayton Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd).
