Brett Kristofer Defibaugh passed away October 21, 2023. Brett was born in London, Ohio on August 1, 1987, the son of Ronald and Mary (Cress) Defibaugh.
Preceding Brett in death is his father Ronald; Grandparents Edward and Ruby (Sanders) Cress and Harold and Mabel (Hershberger) Defibaugh; Uncle Gary Defibaugh; Great Grandmother Ruth Sanders.
Brett is survived by his daughter, Madison Defibaugh; Son, Brentley Defibaugh; Mother, Mary Defibaugh; Brother, Shaun Duckworth; Sister, Leslie (Johnny) Payton; Nephew, Chase Duckworth; Niece, Kassidi Payton; and love of his life Ashley (Brown) Defibaugh
Brett attended Greeneview High School graduating 2005. He then followed his siblings into military serving in the U.S. Army Reserve as a heavy wheeled vehicle mechanic which include time deployed to Kuwait/Iraq. He worked as a heavy equipment operator at Wright Patt Air Force Base. Brett was a volunteer coach for Jamestown Youth Baseball/Softball as he was his children's biggest fan. He loved working with his nephew, Chase on all his project vehicles. Brett was also a devoted Bengals fan. He loved to be outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, or being by a fire.
Brett was such a light to our lives. He had a way to instantly put a smile on anyone's face. It could have been his goofy shenanigans, harassing you until you cracked, or his tone-deaf singing! The impact he left will be felt forever. Brett was deeply loved and will be missed.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek.
A graveside service for Brett will take place at Silver Creek Cemetery on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 11:00am.
