Brenda Gayle Sparks

Brenda G. Sparks, age 65 of Saint Paris, went to be with the Lord on October 28th, 2021. She was born on February 27th, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Hazel Owens.

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Sparks. Her children Eric (Erica) Sparks, Kristy (Shane) Fagan and Lindsay (Eric) Baker. 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Sisters Kathy Lyons, Beverly (Gary) Cushman, Brother Ellis Owens and Brother-in-law Need Potter. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.

She was an avid quiltmaker who enjoyed making them for family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her life revolved around two things her family and God. She had dedicated her life to God for 40 years. Was an active member of her church. You could always find her praying or preparing her Sunday School lessons. She was always volunteering herself and her family to help with bible school, plays and outreach programs. She truly lived to be an example of God's grace and love. As she sits with her loved ones gone before her and her Lord in heaven we can now hear her saying "Don't mourn for me I sit by the Father's side we will be together again for all eternity".

Family will receive friends Monday, November 8, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12 p.m. Calvary Open Bible Church, 3741 Valley Street, Dayton, Ohio, Rev. Daniel Powell, officiating. Burial to follow at Oak Dale Cemetery, Urbana. Contributions may be made in Brenda's memory to the Calvary Open Bible Church. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer North Chapel.
