Brenda I. Wright

Brenda Wright, age 76, of Vandalia, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2025, at Hospice of Butler Warren County. Born and raised in Huntsville, Alabama, Brenda's life was a testament to faith, family, and service.

Brenda dedicated 30 years of her career to General Motors, retiring after a long and fulfilling tenure. She was a beloved and active member of New Vision Church in Vandalia, Ohio, where her unwavering faith shone brightly.

Above all else, Brenda cherished her family and her deep connection to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was passionate about sharing her faith with friends and family, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren fondly remember their "Nana" as a living example of Jesus's love.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Evelyn Hanvey, and her three brothers, Larry, Terry, and Jerry Hanvey.

She is survived by her loving children: Jeff (Beatriz) Patrick, Lisa Cole, and Kimberly (Ken) Smith; her cherished grandchildren: Evangeline, Janette, Rebecca, Larry, Ryan, Matthew, Chelsea, and Addison; and her 21 great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at New Vision Church, located at 950 Helke Rd, Vandalia, Ohio 45377. Funeral services will take place on Friday, April 4, 2025, at 12:00 PM (noon) at New Vision Church, officiated by Pastor Darin Bolden. Following the service, a procession will lead to Poplar Hill Cemetery in Vandalia, Ohio, where Brenda will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Vision Church in Brenda's memory.
