Brenda Howell, 77, of Dayton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2022. She was born October 30, 1944, in Lafayette, TN.
Brenda worked at Southview Hospital for 31 years. She loved the Lord and was an active member of Miamisburg First Baptist Church, where she helped with Upward basketball and attended her Sunday School class. She loved spending time in her yard tending to her flowers and reading. Brenda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and most recently, a great-great-grandmother. We will remember her for her flower garden and the love she had for her family.
She leaves behind a family who will miss her dearly, including her husband of 60 years, Bob Howell; daughters, Pam (Andy) Wherle and Patty McCurry; grandchildren, Kristina (Keith), Christopher (Laura), Josh (Roxy), Justin (Jessica), Zach (Monica); great-grandchildren, Courtney (Tim), Peyton, Blake, Josh, Preston, Caden, Carter, Cruz, Jaxson, Jagger, Josie; great-great-granddaughter, Hadley; a sister, Patricia Wyatt; and a brother, Gary Perkins.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by a brother, Alan Perkins.
Family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:00 noon on Friday, July 22, 2022 at Miamisburg First Baptist Church, 323 N 11th Street, Miamisburg, Oh 45342. A Celebration of Life Service will follow beginning at 12:00 noon. Brenda's final resting place will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Hunter St., Lebanon, Oh.
