Brenda Kay Heiser

Brenda Kay Heiser "Beano", age 81, was born July 26, 1943, in La Follette, TN, to the late Morris & Nell. She was a 1964 graduate of Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing and dedicated her life to serving others for 41 years as RN in labor and delivery, pediatrics, blood banking, and pulmonary medicine. Brenda was an active member of South Dayton Baptist Church, always eager to share her sense on of humor to those around her. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James "Cookie Bear" Heiser; sister, Peggy Hayes; nephew, Michael Wolfe. Brenda is survived by her niece, Joan (Christopher) Stephens, nephew Clarence (Bri) Wolfe, nephew-in-law, Carl Parker; two great-nieces, Heather (John) Roberts and Angelia (Darrell) Bellar; four great-great nephews, Austen, Morgan, Owen, and Grayson; two great-great-nieces, Emma and Samara. She is also survived by many other cousins and lifelong friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Wednesday April, 16, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439. Funeral service will be officiated by Pastor Steve Thornhill the following day at 10:00 am on Thursday, April, 17, 2025 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, Ohio 45439. Interment will follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens 1639 E Lytle Five Pts Rd, Centerville, Ohio 45458. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Dayton Baptist Church in Brenda’s memory at 2351 Rand Ave, Moraine, OH 45439 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the link below.
