Brenda S. Cooper , age 83, of Monroe, passed away on September 27, 2024, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Springfield, Ohio, on March 28, 1941, the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Staffan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Ronnie Cooper; her brother-in-law, David Ball; and her sister-in-law, Joann Cooper. 

Brenda is survived by her step-son, Gregory Cooper; step-granddaughter, Leleigh; sisters-in-law, Shirley Ball and Janet Wiessinger; brothers-in-law, Eddie (Becky) Cooper and Kenneth Cooper; nieces and nephews, Daniel (Nicki) Ball, Kevin (Mary) Ball, Terri (Greg) Prewitt, Troy (Cheri) Ball, Cory (Tammy) Ball, Sandy (Tim) Roberts, Robin Wiessinger, Mark Wiessinger, Melody (Don) Stacey, Kenny (Tiffany) Cooper, Jr., Kelly (Kurt) Hoffman, Kyle Cooper, Kendra (Steve) Roberts, Kristin (Ryan) Sanders, Kara (Tim) Towery and Kimberly (Caleb) Siron; and many other loving family and friends.

She received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Wright State University. Brenda retired from PNC Bank (formerly Bank of Ohio), where she worked for many years as a Bank Agent, where she received many accolades and recognitions. In her younger years, she won a Scholarship from BancOhio pilot Associate Scholarship Program, and out of over 600 applicants, she won the Scholarship for $20,000. She was a member of the Ark Foundation in Kentucky for many years. She and Ronnie also owned/operated the Arky Bookstore in Dayton. In her free time, she enjoyed crafting, traveling, attending Home School Seminars (where she also sold books with her husband) and cooking. She had a heart of gold and a very generous nature. 

Visitation will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, where Funeral Services will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Dwayne Platt of Tri-City Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, New Carlisle.
