Brenda Lynn Castle, 63, passed away on November 2, 2023. Loving mother of Jamison Shinkle and Jessica (Tony) Newsome, cherished grandmother of Erica Lane, Kyla Newsome, Dominick Shinkle and Makaya Rowlison, adored great grandmother of Nova Rowlison and Beloved sister of Vicky Lutz and Edsel Piersall Jr.
Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Christopher Castle, her parents Edsel and Arlene Piersall and her biological mother who passed away when Brenda was young, Sadie May Smith.
Brenda worked at Greene Memorial Hospital for 30 years. She was very social and would strike up a conversation with anyone that she met. She loved spending time in her garden and had an obsession with clowns and deer. Her most favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a regular date with them on every other Friday for a family sleep over.
Family will be holding a private celebration of Brenda's life.
