Brenda Carlo, age 58, of Huber Heights, passed away on January 11, 2023. She was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico to Anibal Carlo and Aurora Montalvo.
She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wright State University. She worked as a construction engineer for the Ohio Department of Transportation for 29 years. She loved to play sports as well as coach at St. Peter's, such as volleyball and softball. She loved her family, and enjoyed being a mother and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by her family.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Anibal Carlo.
Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Melvin Santiago; her children: Laura Santiago (Dylan Ewing) and Gabriel Santiago (Shelby Trautman); her grandson: Graham; her mother, Aurora Montalvo; her siblings: Anibal and Lizette; and many extended family and friends.
