Brenda Kay Halle (Burke), 57, formally of Huber Heights, lost a short but brave battle with a serious illness and passed away Oct. 18, 2010, at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL.
Brenda was an amazing woman. She was a wife, mother, and grandmother. She served her country in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years. She spent many beloved years at Defense Finance and Accounting Service in Kettering and Columbus and recently was an inspector with the Defense Contract Management Agency in Florida with a total of 38 years of government service.
She loved her children and grandchildren and was dedicated to her family. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.
Survivors include her husband, Edward J. Halle; her mother, Leona Feast; her daughter, Ashley (Mike) Schmitz; her son, Benjamin Burke; her brother, Richard (Gail) Feast; her grandchildren, Matthew, Nicklaus, William and Sean; and her lifelong best friend Kathleen Brown. She was predeceased by her father, Bert W. Feast, and a nephew, Richard Feast Jr.
A memorial service will be held 6:00PM Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brenda's memory to the National Kidney Foundation, (www.kidney.org).
