Brenda Lee Bratz

Brenda Lee Bratz, age 57 of Dayton, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Miami Valley Hospital. She was born April 15, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio daughter of the late Kenneth and Patricia Shope.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Kenneth Schneider. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Robert Bratz, daughter, Rebecca Schneider; sister, Becky Reibert; brother-in-law, George (Kim) Bratz; nephew, David Bratz; niece, Amber Bratz; great nephew, Tristan; great neice, Ava; best friend, Vonnie Mezzanotte-Young; beloved pets, Maggie, Rocky and Lucy (the squirrel), as well as numerous other friends and neighbors.

Brenda was a 1979 graduate of Fairmont West High School. She dedicated herself to her husband and family as a homemaker for the majority of her life. Brenda loved to care for animals, enjoyed camping and collected lighthouses. She was formerly an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Brenda was very outgoing and enjoyed being social.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek. Funeral services will begin 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 3, 2018 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kettering. Burial will follow at Valley View Memory Gardens, Xenia.
