Brenda L. Beal, age 73, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. She was born November 29, 1949 in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Robert and Dorothy J. (Camp) Burkey.
Brenda was retired from Synchrony Financial after 25 plus years of service. She was a member of Church of the Cross United Methodist in Kettering.
Brenda loved playing Bingo, attending the Kettering Rec Center, and gardening. She was an animal lover, her dog, Daphne and her cat Oreo were very special to her. Most of all, Brenda loved spending time with her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Beal, brother Scott Burkey, sister Susie Back, and nephew Christopher Back.
Brenda is survived by her son Michael (Shelley) Lagano; her beloved grandsons, Tony and Alex Lagano; her brother, Robert Burkey, Jr.; two nieces, Heather (James) Carter and Nikki Back and their families. She is also survived by her dear friends Nancy and Rachel.
An expression of sympathy may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton in Brenda's memory.
