ASH, Brad, age 41, passed away as a result of a bicycle accident on Sunday, October 10, 2010 in Lakeland, FL.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stewart and Martha Ash and Richard Barrett. Brad is survived by his parents, Bud and Cheryl Ash; sister, Denise Jones; son, Chandler Ash; niece, Mandy Jones; grandmother, Grace Barrett, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

His passions included teaching, mentoring, bicycling, and music. He also was an active member of his church worship team. Brad was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and Taylor University. He was a loving and devoted son, father, brother, and mentor, who will be greatly missed by those whose lives he touched.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, October 22, 2010 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek. Steve Raisch, long time friend, officiating the service. Interment will follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mothers Against Brain Injury Inc. (www.mabii.org).
