Brack Couch, Jr.

COUCH, Jr. Brack "BJ" age 85 passed away October 20, 2012. He was born in Hazard, Ky on August 10, 1927 to the late, Brack and Jessie Couch. He is also preceded in death by his son, Ronald Couch, granddaughter, Amanda Thompson, and by 5 brothers.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Laura Couch; daughters, Joni (Gerald) Cook, Shari (James) Spitzer, and Melissa Lohmiller; sons, Robert (Vicki) Couch and Bryan Couch; grandchildren, Justin, Janice, Ashley, Aubrey, Nicholas, Stephanie, Noah, and Alexander; siblings, Alva Adkins, Vernon Couch, and Eugene Couch; and by numerous other dear family members and friends.

BJ was a volunteer fireman for the Mad River Township Fire Department for 17 years and retired from NCR after 37 ½ years of service. He also served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
