Bonzice Gilbert Contreras Jr.

Bonzice Gilbert Contreras Jr., age 56 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully and took the hand of the Lord on September 27, 2024. He was born March 2, 1968 in Sacramento, California son of Rosa and John Kramer. 

Bonzice was a loving husband, father, papaw, brother, uncle, coworker, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, family trips to Kentucky, and working outside. He was a hard worker and he was known for saying, "Dont worry, I got this". Bonzice was an avid animal lover, his baby Peaches Gilbert. He was a faithful member of Revive Church where he gave his heart to the Lord and was baptized. He was an amazing family man who would do anything for those in need. His family was his everything, and he enjoyed spending as much time with them as he could. Bonzice will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his parents, Bonzice was preceded in death by his son, Nicholas G. Contreras.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Tina "Big Chops" Cisco-Contreras; son, Gilbert Contreras III; daughter, Sabrina Contreras; grandchildren, Ja'Mae, Gabriella, Sophia, Xaveon, Eva, and Karter; sisters, Sylvia (Don) Hoskins and Elisa (Kenny) Mills; brothers, John (Cheri) Kramer Jr., and Rodney Kramer; nephew, Daniel Simon; niece, Maria (Ryan) Lewis; great niece, Jilly Bean; great nephew, Karter; special friends, Ace Williams and Brian Garrett; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm at Revive Church, 4701 Frederick Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45414. Funeral service will begin at 7pm also at the Church with Pastor Harry Edwards officiating. Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
