Bonnie Smiddy

SMIDDY, Bonnie Evalee, age 82, of Springboro and formerly of Miamisburg, passed away Tues., Jan. 17, 2006. She was born in Red Ash, KY on Jan. 14, 1924. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Charles Smiddy, 1 daughter Evelyn Landis, 1 son Carl Edison Smiddy, her parents John Leonard & Rose Nell Broyles, 3 sisters Ella McCurry, Lena Wollum and Gladys Simpson. She is survived by her 2 sons Glennis Joe Smiddy & wife Doris of Dayton and Lewis Charles Smiddy & wife JoeAnn of Miamisburg; 1 daughter Brenda Joyce Shelton & fiance Patrick Leet of Springboro; 3 brothers James Broyles & wife Janet of KY, Joe Broyles & wife Florence of Dayton and Eugene Broyles & wife Judy of FL; 5 sisters Mary Clowers & husband JB of New Lexington, OH, Doris Hensley & husband Wendell of New Carlisle, Genieve Meadows & husband Joe of MI, Sue Brown of KY and Darlene Johnson & husband Bill of KY; 2 brothers-in-law Tommy Simpson and Gene McCurry both of KY; 1 sister-in-law Audrey Newman & husband David of Dayton; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonnie was a member of the Ark of Safety Church. Funeral services 1:30 P.M., Fri., Jan. 20, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Pastor Paul Williams officiating.
