Bonnie S. Shockey, age 73 of Union, OH, passed away July 4, 2017 at The Hospice of Dayton. She was born February 6, 1944 in Fount, KY to her late parents, John and Eva (Smith) Jackson. In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her siblings, Lola Jackson, John Jackson Jr., Eulene Asher and Glenn Jackson.
She is survived by her 2 children, Cynthia (Rick) Shilt and Mark (Kelly) Johnson; grandchildren, Adam, Holly and Troy; step-grandchildren, Alexis and Bethany; 1 great-grandchild on the way; siblings, Irene Margerum, Ralph (Margaret) Jackson, Ted Jackson, Beulah Coldiron and Gladys (Larry) Blackwell; special nieces, Sherry Winters and Eva DeCamp; numerous extended family and friends.
Family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM on Friday, July 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City, OH.
