Bonnie L. Harvey

Bonnie Louise Harvey, age 94 of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away March 9, 2022. She was born March 31, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Willison) Carpenter.

Bonnie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a member of the Beavercreek Republican Women's Club for many years. Bonnie worked as a seamstress at Rolland Originals and enjoyed sewing throughout her life. She volunteered as a Nurse for the Beavercreek City Schools. Bonnie worked at the Beavercreek YMCA as well as Kettering Recreation Center. She enjoyed water aerobics with her Aqua Babe friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, William Harvey; her son, Michael "Mike" W. Harvey; brothers, Paul Carpenter, Robert "Bob" Carpenter, and Jerry Carpenter; best friend, Virginia Frederick.

Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Ron) Frederick of Beavercreek; grandchildren, Shannon (Tim) Berridge, Taylor (Joe) Ruef, Alyssa (Josh) Moots, and Sydney (Clint) Miller; great grandchildren, Paityn, Carter, Myles, Keegan, Camryn, Baylee, Adelynn and a great grandson on the way; siblings, Phyllis Lawson, Faye Grover, and Lydia Hammel; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 18, 2022 from 10-11am at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton -Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A memorial service will begin at 11 am at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Bonnie's honor to Alzheimer's Association (Miami Valley Chapter -6077 Far Hills Ave, Dayton OH 45459) and/or Dayton Area Epilepsy Foundation (120 West 2nd St Suite 425 Dayton, OH 45402).
