Bonnie Jean Jurich, age 81, of Englewood, went home to be with Jesus on February 23, 2023. She was born in West Van Lear, Kentucky, on July 26, 1941, to the late William Jefferson and Martha Jane Perry.
She was a lifelong member of Englewood United Methodist Church. She recently enjoyed attending the Living Word Church in Vandalia, and she had a special fondness for their pastoral care team. She was co-owner of Plate-Rite Company Inc. with her husband, John, for more than 30 years.
She found great joy in serving as a Stephen Minister for over 20 years. Bonnie was deeply loved for her kind and endearing spirit. She shared her compassion with others through her card ministry, in which she utilized her beautiful, self-taught calligraphy. She shared her love of Jesus with everyone she came in contact with.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband, John Jurich, whom she married on September 24, 1960; her siblings, Jessie Pack, Lorraine Conley, William "Buddy" Perry, Franklin Perry, Darlene McKenzie, and sister-in-law, Victoria Mattox.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Johnna (Garry) Clark of Youngstown, and Jayne (Tim) Lewis of Vandalia; grandchildren, Jonathan Clark, Tabitha Clark, Susanna Clark, Rebecca Clark, Jordan Lewis, Kari Lewis, Kayla Lewis, and John Lewis; great-grandchildren, Chloe and Mara Clark; and siblings, Dimple Watkins and Douglas Perry.
She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Gay Perry and Kathy Perry; dear friends, Doris Mains, Gwen Frantz, Karen & Jim Sipos, Jane Marx, Shelby Schoonover, Inge Pierce, Dr. Debbie Burt-Frazier, and Allyn & Ann Yukawa; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
