Bonita Jean Curtis, 79, of Franklin, passed away on January 1, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1937 to the late Clyde and Louise (Lewis) Hampton at Dayton, OH. Bonita is survived by her loving son, Thomas (Jeanette) Moody, Sr. of Kettering, and daughter, Helen (Arthur) Moody Daly of Franklin, OH. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Monica, Stephen, Joshua, Thomas, Daniel, and Rebecca; seven great-grandchildren, Desiree, Justin, Jaime, Tyler, Isaiah, Cassie, and Ella; uncle, William Lewis of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Louise Hampton; husband, George W. Moody Sr. of Kettering and husband, Daniel P. Curtis of Kettering; son, Danny Ray; sisters, Virginia Call of Miamisburg and Loretta Gilbert of Dayton; and brother, Elmer Hampton of Dayton. Bonita worked as a Property Supervisor for Tosoko Properties Inc. in Anaheim, CA, for 19 years. She served our country's veterans through her service as a VFW Auxiliary of LaMirada, CA, and the American Legion Auxiliary in Kettering, OH. A graveside service at Dayton National Cemetery will be held at a later date.
