Bobby Jordan

JORDAN, Bobby, age 70, peacefully joined his Lord and Savior in the early hours of Sunday, November 21, 2010.

Bobby was truly one of a kind. For 3 short years, he fought strong and hard against his illness with a smile on his face. Everyday Bobby looked forward to teasing his fellow residents and flirting with the nurse aides at Heartland of Beavercreek. He enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing, selling shoes and walking his son Anthony's dog, Mindy. He and Mindy were buddies to no end. But most of all Bob enjoyed spoiling his 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Jordan; parents, Shirley and Julie Jordan; brothers, Herald and Shirley Jr.

Bobby leaves behind his incredibly wonderful and loyal wife Nancy of 28 years; grandchildren, Brittany (Lee Jones) Snyder of Akron, OH, April (Gary) Rhoton of Dallas, NC; great-grandson, Oliver Rhoton; brothers, Harold (Arleen), Ed, Earl (Pat), Paul (Betty), Jim (Donna) and Bill; sister, Shirleen Honocan; aunt, Ella Faye Richie all of KY; daughter-in-law, Rhonda (Erik) Rinehart and their son, Nicholas of Gastonia, NC; mother-in-law, Betty Watson; sister-in-law, Belinda Watson; brother-in-law, Ralph (Joni) Watson and their daughter, Rachael along with numerous nieces, nephews, many dear friends and of course little Mindy.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24 at 2:00 PM (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432). Family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until time of service at the funeral home. Interment at Valley View Memorial Gardens to immediately follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland of Beavercreek (1974 N. Fairfield Rd. Beavercreek, OH 45432) in Bobby's memory.

The family would like to thank their friends, Jim and Louise Guydish and Katie Kraft for all their love and support.

And last and certainly not least a very special thanks goes out to all "Bobby's girls" at Heartland of Beavercreek. We're sure he is still blowing you kisses down from Heaven.
