Bobby Ray Hurt, age 85 of Dayton, departed peacefully on September 16, 2022. He was born January 16, 1937 in Hazard, KY to the late Curtis Hurt and Helen (Thomas) Smith. In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his three children, Brenda, Jeffrey and Curtis; siblings, Florence Jeanette Smith, Grover Hurt and Freddie Hurt.
He will be missed dearly by his loving wife, Marcella; children, Zachary, Cindy, Joyce and Jennifer; sister, Roberta Annette Combs.
Bobby loved sports, fishing and family events.
Funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering, Ohio 45439. Visitation at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 28, until the time of service.
