Bobby G. Brookhart, age 81, of Dayton, passed away May 25, 2021. He was born May 8, 1940 in Crossville, TN. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father: Auda Mae and Leo Speakman; and father, Paul Brookhart.
Bobby is survived by his wife of 51 years, Barbara Brookhart; children: Craig Brookhart (Erica) and Valarie Brookhart; grandchildren: Courtney, Megan, Cejay, Nash, Nathan, Charlie and Aleks; and great-grandchildren: Aubry, Ava, Lowen, Irelyn and Cameron.
Bobby graduated from Northridge High School, Class of 1958, and still enjoyed getting together with his classmates. He retired from Meijer; was a vice-president of the Miami Valley Rose Society; he touched many lives with his love of photography; and loved to travel. Bob did not know a stranger; he had an infectious smile and laugh; had lots of energy and a zest for life. To know Bob was to love him. Bob would want you to know that Bill's Donuts are the best and that he had almost 400,000 miles on his Toyota and it's still running. Can you believe it?
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4-6 pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road. Contributions may be made to https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-memory-of-bobby-brookhart
