Bobbie Jean Dixon

DIXON, Bobbie Jean, age 60, of Dayton, passed away Monday, August 31, 2009. She was born September 11, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio. She was active with the Aids Foundation in Dayton for several years and worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital and CompuNet Clinical Laboratories. She is survived by her husband, Grant Dixon; one son, Joe Thompson; two brothers, Joe and Jerry Thompson; step-mother, Phyllis Thompson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Judith Kay Thompson; one sister, Judy. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel where funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Foundation. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Tony H.H.
