Bob Stansell

Bob Stansell, age 67, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Bob was born January 7, 1950 in Dayton to the late Alvin & Clairabel Stansell. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Kenny, Phyllis, Eddie and Sandra.

Bob spent most of his life involved with local auto racing, from being the driver of car #99 to a car owner. He loved bowling, fishing- especially his fishing trips to Florida, going to the casino and Bingo-but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Anita "Needy" Stansell; sons, Randy Stansell and Bob (Donna) Stansell Jr.; grandson, Justin Stansell; brother-in-laws, Andy Osborne and Mike (Sharon) Holly; sister-in-laws, Linda (Mick) Cole and Karen (Kenny) Stansell; and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 1-2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 2pm. Bob will be laid to rest at Bellbrook Cemetery.
