Bob Cherry

Robert A. Cherry, age 69 of Kettering, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017. He was born August 24, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Joseph and Mary Cherry.

Bob was most recently employed with Dayton Phoenix Company. He was formerly employed with Blommel Sign and was the former owner of Bob's Sonoco on the corner of Wayne and Keowee.

He loved golfing, bowling and riding his Harley. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Tim Cherry, Dennis Cherry and Tommy Cherry.

Robert will be missed by his loving wife of 28 years, Stephanie Cherry; sons, Phillip (Melinda) Cherry and Joshua Cherry; step-daughter, Molly (Graham) Hayes; grandchildren, Landon, Grayson, Jasmine, Wesley, Cheyenne, Tristin, Brayden, Gracie, Liliana, Calea and Cohen; great granddaughter, Mali; mother-in-law, Sharon Clauss; brothers, Larry Cherry, Al (Barb) Cherry, Tony (Debbie) Cherry and Mike Cherry; sisters, Pat (Glenn) Purdue and Jess (Jeff) Creech; sisters-in-law, Michelle Cherry and Angel Cherry and numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio.
